Can anyone recommend a repair place, preferably in Virginia. One hinge is broken and it’s deforming/separating the screen in its two lawyers when opening the laptop. TIA |
Keep it open and use it as a stationary computer in the meantime?
It will probably cost almost as much to repair as to buy a new cheap one. |
Micro Center would be my first choice.
But, yeah, it probably won't be cheap. Unless it is a newish and/or high-end laptop, it likely isn't worth the repair cost. |
Microcenter does good work but a little pricey. If your laptop is older, I’d consider just getting a new one. |
