HS graduation party June 2025

Have searched for guidance but only saw 2021 posts.
DC’s graduation is midweek. Family are traveling in for this. I had planned to host a special family dinner that day. DC is now asking for a party. Might be 10-20 HS friends. Do not know many of their parents (kid was new here in 9th grade), but maybe some adult friends who have watched DC grow up would attend. Do most people host parties the evening after a midweek graduation (and kids run from party to party)? Or do they wait until the following weekend? Is it inappropriate to host a party the weekend before? The out-of-town family invited themselves and it presents complications. Please help me. |

| Do what's easiest for you. Plus does graduate want a party? |

| Host on the weekend that’s most convenient. Before or after is fine. There may be other parties your graduate wants to go to. |
