Lisbone Itinerary for girl's trip

Anonymous
I'm travelling to LIsbon for a week with some girfriends, and thought I'd ask here about some favorite things you've done there. It's been quite a few years since I was in Lisbon, and that was with DH and kids so different vibe. We like good food, wine, museums, kind of the usual. Any recs for must see and day trips would be appreciated.
TIA

There are some good food tours, if you like that sort of thing.

Sintra, Cascais, Belem all make for nice day trips (Belem is basically Lisbon but you can spend a full day there if you want). Obidos if you want to a little further.

I think you gave the game away with your Freudian “Lisbone”. My only advice is to use protection. You don’t want to return home with some unwanted additions.

Go to Porto, way nicer.

No, Lisbon is better.

Actually loved Lisbon better and Sintra was fascinating. I stayed in a flat in both cities and traveled to Cascais by train from Sintra and then went to Belem. Loved Belem! We took a carriage ride all around and they let my equestrian daughter help steer the horses. She was in heaven!! Loved all the castles. Quinta. De Regulaira was amazing!!! Porto was cool but more for grownups. I had my girls with me. We found this cool bookstore and coffee shop that we visited everyday. There is a little town east of Porto that was breathtaking. It had canals everywhere like Venice. Next time I return I am going to Madeira and the Algarve region!

I really hope you're kidding about that. Those letters are not very far from each other on the keyboard--it's not exactly the q and m.
