Kid totaled my Car but Moving out insurance question

Kid totaled my car last week. No one hurt Thank God. But she got issued a ticket at the scene for failure to control vehicle basically to avoid the crash. It was an at fault accident plus ticket.

She is moving out next month. My question if she is off my policy will I still fell the pain of the accident with a big increase in my insurance rates. I will have her off before renewal.

if you can prove they don't live at your home and don't have access to your cars the accident will not increase your insurance.

Had a similar situation with an au pair and we had to get them to sign something saying they are no longer part of the household and don't have access to the car.

This is a great question to ask your insurance agent. If you don't have one, this is a great reason to find an independent insurance agent.
