The playbook for the 3 hegemonic powers in the world. Trump is going to allow China to get Taiwan and Russia to get Ukraine with little US interference and they are going to allow the US to get Canada/Greenland. Question will be if the rest of the world will allow this to happen or if they will fight back. |
No. |
That’s one way to get global thermonuclear war. Let’s just get it over with, I guess. |
Canada is not for Russia nor China to help the US get. You are nuts with your logic. No, China is not getting Taiwan - they can take care of themselves reasonably well even without US support and they have technology over us which even Trump cannot leverage away so no way would US not offer at least a show of support in the highest order. On Russia getting Ukraine - that's dependent on Europe. I don't know that it's a complete get by Russia just because Trump isn't all in with Ukraine. You give way too much credit to Trump and I dont think you actually are knowledgeable about world events just engaging in drama. |
Trump is going to "allow" ![]() Trump can't even control his bowels, and you think he controls China enough to "allow" them to succeed at something they've been failing at for how long now? Your shitpost is about as weak as Trump's control, buddy. |
I would rather have Taiwan for its tech sector. Could you make a switch? |
It is the mob boss philosophy of governing. The triumvirate wants to split up the world and rule their areas like they are Tony Soprano. |
OP here - In no way do I support this playbook. I am just saying I see this playing out right now. Trump is using similar tactics as Russia did with the invasion of Ukraine. Challenging the sovereignty of the nation, challenging the boarder and trying to tariff their economy into the oblivion.
There is talk right now that Trump wants to revise the US-Canada boarder. |
For real. The global economy collapses if Taiwan is attacked. It would take years to replace Taiwan's advanced semiconductor factories. Without those facilities, nearly all advanced manufacturing stops. But Republicans seem to value an island of ice more than technology. |
One is not like the other two. Country A $27 trillion GDP Country B $17 trillion GDP Country C $2 trillion GDP Now Country C shares a border with an economic union of rich first world countries who share a common defense. These countries have a GPD of $25 trillion and have a history of war and dominating the world. Country C also share a border with country B. How does Country C survive in this New World order? |
$27T + $2T > $25T. We get Canada and Greenland if we go along with China and Russia bringing back breakaway provinces? That’s a great deal for us. |
What are you talking about?! These are sovereign nations! |
The problem is we already have anything we need or want with Canada, Greenland(useless) and Mexico. The US, Canada and Mexico economies are totally integrated. Why would the EU and China let Russia take anything or even have a seat at the adult table? |
Exactly. We don't gain anything from this. The only thing we get is the negative consequences of betraying our closest allies and friends. Heck, we would actually lose capabilities with the end of NATO and that's without gaming out the potential losses in Asia and Oceania. It would be a massive self-sabotage of our own long term economic and military interests. |
Canadians will burn the White House down again if Trump tries.
Canadians have a lethal immunity against Americans: they look like Aryan Americans. Try to racially profile that! |
