| I heard rumors about a lawsuit regarding the massive rosters and related cash grab. I was wondering if there was any truth to the rumors - anyone have any scoop? |
|
I heard they are not even an actual legally registered non-profit and couldn't even pay coaches for a portion of last season
|
who are your sauces? Ecnl hats or X board members? |
|
| VA union or FVU? |
im sooooo confused whats the difference |
McLean + SYC “merger” was VA union. The uniforms looked like Onion. Later Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC), McLean Youth Soccer Club (MYS), and Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) merged ECNL to make Fairfax Virginia Union. |
Clearly some secret sauces at work here.

OK --- what would the cause of action be for massive rosters? What is the claim? Fraud? I really doubt you could pull that off so late in the season. So no I really doubt there is a lawsuit about this. About something else -- maybe but not this. |
Same PP here ---- there is nothing about whether they were or were not registered as a non-profit that in any way would impact paying employees. Just not a thing. To register as a non-profit you file a form. That is all. Could they have not done this -- yes but not related to operations or pay. |
So I can sue my kids ARL team or my other kids RL (non Arlington) team that have 24 and 26 respectively rostered? One is not even yet HS age |
|
OP here. Just curious about the rumor I heard - the exact allegation was not clear. I guess it could be fraud?
I mean, there’s no question that you’re screwing people by having a roster that approaches 40, but I’m not sure what legal recourse you would have. I was just curious if there was any truth to the rumor as we look to change clubs. |
Which team has 40 on their roster? |
