Ex has no money… because he spends on girlfriend

No money for child support. Is in debt, but makes low six figures. How will courts see this for child support?

Salary is 1/3 more than mine but he says he can’t pay anything as he has no money. He is technically right. I have seen the unpaid credit card bills.

He will file for bankruptcy.

Debt or bankruptcy doesn’t mean kids don’t need to eat or have clothes. A**hole.
Deadbeats suck!
File in court asap for what your kids deserve.
Go to your local government office and have them help you through it all, including wage garnishment. Necessary

Operative key word, OP. Talk to your lawyer.

Wow, that takes work to spend that much money.

How much is the child support? How behind is he? Seems like he has been bad at budgeting for awhile unless you took him to the cleaners. Why bother even mentioning the girlfriend unless you mad. You might as well mention his beer habit.
They will garnish his wages and what do you care how he uses his credit cards.

Oh cmon. We all know when Dad gets the girlfriend, he usually doesn’t give a sh*t about the kids anymore. Been this way since the beginning of time.

You need to let a lawyer deal with this.

See a lawyer and get a wage garnishment order. That way the money never touches his bank account. You can also use this to claim his tax refunds.

This. Every few years, I’d get a random check from the IRS over the summer. It was money the IRS took from his tax refund since he owed back child support.
