Where to buy tech if avoiding Amazon

If you’re trying to avoid Amazon, where are you going for basic electronics?

We need a new portable charger and that’s the sort of thing I would have absolutely grabbed at Amazon in the past.

Any hardware store, target, CVS . . . is this something you seriously are stumped by? If that's really the case, I suggest that you stick with Amazon, just so you don't have leave your house. You'd be a danger to yourself and others in the outside world.

No need to be rude. I'm asking those who might be paying attention to corporate America and where are the places we want to put our money. Best Buy? Walmart? Really I can buy a charging dock in CVS, I've never looked.

If you want to know where to put your money in every day shopping, look up an App called Goods Unite US.

Best Buy is good for having a large variety of electronics, as do Walmart and Target.

You can buy charges directly from https://www.anker.com/ rather than buying them through Amazon.

https://www.backmarket.com/ is a large and reliable site for used computer and other electronics.

For very basic things like cords, I go to eBay.

I’m not boycotting anybody and I would still get it at Amazon. But other options for you would be CVS, Walmart, Best Buy, target if you’re in Maryland, you can go to Micro Center.

I buy everything I can at microcenter even if it costs more. I love that store and would be shattered if it ever closed. It’s one of the few stores left where people actually know what they’re talking about.

There is a Microcenter in Fairfax too. Walmart will likely be your cheapest non Amazon option. Possibly Best Buy.

Find it on Amazon and then buy it online directly from the manufacturer. If you want to buy it locally, some manufacturers provide lists of where you can buy their products.

Everyone, it's much better to stay away from Walmart than Amazon and Target. Walmart has forced more jobs overseas than any other company and has donated tons to GOP. For decades. They are pure evil.

Though I'm staying away from Target and am minimizing Amazon.

Find the product you want. Google who else sells it.

Easy peasy.

I gave up Amazon awhile ago so am pleased others are now, too. That being said, I was relying on store delivery to Target.

If it’s something I need I would just buy it. It’s not expensive and it’s something you need. See the forest for the trees and realize that while this is a concrete step for most Americans, the general idea is to stop buying unnecessary things.
