Please recommend a Marriott hotel in Boston

Anonymous
We are spending a night in Boston with teen DC and would like to use Marriott points. I don't know much about Boston at all and the website has a dozen hotels in the Marriott family for the night we want to stay. Can someone please recommend the best one to stay at if we just want to see the main sights of Boston in a walkable area? TIA.

If you want to stay on the city side, the Courtyard at Copley square has huge rooms and everything is close by.

It’s a good 30 minute walk from Cambridge to downtown Boston. Copley Place and the Marriott by the Wharf area are convenient to lots of the main tourist areas.

There's a Marriott and a Westin at Copley square - both centrally located and some with decent river view.

Second this one. Close to lots of stuff.

I live in Back Bay. Suggest Westin Copley or The Envoy. Both great locations and properties. Enjoy

Copley Square is a great recommendation. The Westin is the best situated but the Marriott and Sheraton are all connected via the internal mall.
Check out Friendly Toast or Pressed Cafe for breakfast.

Another vote for Copley Place. So close to everything, connects to a high-end mall, lots of restaurants nearby, across from the orange line (Back Bay station), and a few minutes from Newbury St, Bolyston St and the Green line, easy walk to the Public Garden, etc.

I’ve stayed at the Westin as well but prefer Marriott.

+ 1 for the Courtyard at Cople Square . I stayed there with my teen daughter and we loved the hotel and the area. It’s right by Newbury Street where which has so many shops and restaurants ( Boston’s equivalent of M street in Georgetown)

Marriott Long Wharf?

We stayed there, and the location was very convenient. We could walk to most of the places we wanted to visit, and it was right at a T station. It’s in a super touristy spot.
