Which ones taking the hit? |
Not sure what the question might be. |
Probably IDA (very bloated) and RAND |
MITRE and Aerospace are hit too |
Aerospace is having a hiring event for their Chantilly location circa mid-March.
Must already have a TS/SCI + CI poly to be considered. In a few months they will have another hiring event for Chantilly where only a collateral is required. |
Space Rapid Capabilities Office is backfilling the laid off civil service folks with Aerospace employees. They have been vocal they needed every one of their civil service people. SRCO is a very lean organization even before the current administration.. |
No sign yet of any hit to either. Both are studies and analysis FFRDCs. So they do not build widgets, unlike Mitre or MIT/LL. |
Do you have any details for MITRE? |
MITRE’s public jobs website has a LOT fewer advertised positions. Many that had been on the public website are being closed / deleted without being filled. |
None. |
Hopefully MITRE. Full of bloat and people working 15 hours a week. All reimbursable. Spouse used to work there. |
Our federal office has been ripped off blind by contractors, including MITRE, Guidehouse, but I also blame our managers and CORs for letting it happen. |
The amount of unnecessary employees and overhead MITRE is billing to the government is unreal. It is so shocking that no one has figured it out yet. |
Negative comments about MITRE are not true and wonder what is motivating them. Full of hardworking, thoughtful people that care about their work. |
sure |
