| You mean Super-Y? |
|
I mean USL-Y, formerly known as Super-Y.
|
yes usl-y apologies |
In general, USL-Y is very disorganized. Not sure about Arlington specifically, but with spring tryouts and all the moving parts going on right now, it's not unusual to not know anything for a while. Also, be aware that if you are no the Top Team at Arlington and you advance to the playoffs next fall/ winter, you might not be invited to go even if you played on the super-y team. They will field the best team possible if that occurs. With the compact game schedule and evolving practices, it the least popular league for a reason. I'd be surprised if anyone-anywhere has received any solid information at this point. |
All True .. at one of the practices my dc attended as the tryout they did pull a few kids aside and give verbal offers for their top team (2 teams at dc's age). They also sent the following mass email a while back: Families, Thank you for your interest in the Arlington Soccer USL (formerly Super Y League) program. Despite the numerous team session cancellations due to weather and field conditions, the coaching staff has been working on the team formation process. All players who have registered, including non-Arlington players who tried out, will receive an email regarding their status by March 7. |
