A place you would (or do) return to over and over. We have two teens if that matters, but are also looking for somewhere we'd go even without them. |
Delray Beach on the east coast. Siesta Key on the west coast. |
I realize this is unpopular but I'd do S Beach if I were inclined to Fl. You have a lot of opportunities down there. It's also possible to do Keys from there. Major airport - easy travel. I like it for teens and I like it for adults. We did a few days last Mar at this hotel on Ocean with rooftop pool and great Newscafe next door. Totally works. Beach right there, spa, food, it's just easy R&R.
We s done a lot if other places like St Augustine which I like. Of course W Palm Beach and Clearwater but to me it's just beach. I like the blend of beach and. It's and even keys or go up and explore Ft Lauderdale. |

+1 for Siesta Key. Fly into Sarasota and try to drive (esp off the island) as little as possible. |
Mar A Lago. Not sure, but if I recall correctly it is in Palm Beach. (Tell them Leon sent you.) |

A few I love and would return to over and over (with teens):
JW Marriott Marco Island Sandpearl, Clearwater Four Seasons Orlando Kimpton, Vero Beach |
Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
Four Seasons Ft Lauderdale The Seagate in Delray Watercolor or The Pearl in 30A |
Breakers (but not in Feb/March during peak social season) |
We did the Sandpearl in Clearwater last spring break based on DCUM recommendations and I'd go back over and over again. Our kids are elementary age, though that doesn't change my recommendation. |
St Regis Bal Harbour. Beautiful property, great restaurants and shopping right across the street. |
This was going to be my suggestion as well. |
JW Marriott Marco Island...gorgeous beach and property! |
Clearwater beach 🏖️ |
