MD or VA state park cabin recommendations?

| Looking for a long weekend at a rustic but scenic cabin at one of the MD or VA state parks. Westmorland State Park in VA looks nice but is under construction. Any other ideas for a place that’s somewhere near water and pleasant? Thanks! |

All of the VA State Parks are great. On the website, you can even do searches for parks with water. Only a few have views of the water from the cabin itself, but many have lake, ocean, or river in walking distance of the cabins.

| Janes Island in MD. It's a hike down there, but it's really nice. Go before the flies come out. |
