Any plans to get into GenAI?

Automatically generate answers to user questions?

Find related threads and link them?

Spell check / grammar check?

Scold on naughty words or negative sentiment?

Could be a lot of fun!

Aren't we here to to communicate with other humans?

AI flattens and averages information. Great for some kinds of synthesis but not all.

I do not like the AI summaries on Amazon or WaPo comment sections.

No, I have no plans to add AI features. I think the strength of forums like DCUM is getting answers from real people. If you just want AI responses, use ChatGPT. I see some value in proofreading, but users can do that on their one devices and then past the response.
