What sequel do you want but have not gotten?

Anonymous
There are a few movies that I hope would get a sequel but has not happened for one reason or another.

Mine are:
District 9
Edge of tomorrow

I also would throw out anybody but you as well for a sequel- mainly because it turns out the actor Glen Powell and Matthew McConaughey are friends and there was a rumor they were collaborating on ideas to bring how to lose a guy in 10 days characters into it. Which would be kind of a 2 for 1 sequel.

What are yours?

Paranormal Activity. I love these movies and don't get why they do not keep doing more. It's an endless franchise.

Serenity
So much more to that world and those characters left to be developed. Alas.

You’ve Got Mail. I would love to see Nancy Meyers taking over for Nora Ephron with some incredible nyc apartment p*rn, witty dialogue and finding out what happened to the bookstores in the 21st century. Could even do some sort of “redo” of the original story with Kathleen and Joe’s kid meeting Frank (& Sidney Anne?)’s kid on Tinder or something.

I got it: Bridget jones about a boy! It was everything I could have hoped for and more as a Bridget Jones fan.

It’s not a sequel, but I really want someone to make a movie about the Munich agreement, focusing on Chamberlain, who sacrificed the Sudetenland to Hitler in a failed attempt to secure “peace for our time”.

Adjustment Bureau- interesting sequel.

Good chemistry between Blunt and Damon - but she is just that good with most actors.

They do have a lot of room for plot and romance there.
