| This year is Jane Austen's 250th birthday and there are lots of people celebrating by reading or rereading her books and reading nonfiction about her as well. Any plans to spend reading time on Jane Austen in 2025? |
One of my book groups is reading Pride and Prejudice. Beyond that I have no plans to celebrate

I reread one or two of her books most years, but I have a few nonfiction books that I'd like to get to.
A Life in Small Things by Paula Byrne is one I just started. Books I've read and recommend are: Jane Austen's Wardrobe by Hilary Davidson Jane Austen at Home by Lucy Worsley What Matters in Jane Austen? Twenty Crucial Puzzles Solved by John Mullan Jane Austen: A Life by Claire Tomalin Jane Austen Cover to Cover by Margaret C. Sullivan (fun coffee table book of the many different edition covers) |

Oh that's a great idea! I've always meant to read Persuasion.
I found Pride and Prejudice laugh out loud funny when it read it 10+ years ago. |
| My personal favorite is Sense and Sensibility. |
| Persuasion is my favorite book ever time for a re-read. |
| I think I'll re-read "Mansfield Park." It doesn't get enough love imo. |
