Can the SSA Commissioner Email thread be unlocked?

I posted a link to Reddit showing what SSA employees were emailed this morning. I didn’t post this for political discussion per se. This is my career and I think a lot of us are about to get fired. This could lay groundwork for RIFs and outsourcing at other agencies (SSA is an easy place to start since our AC was planted by DOGE).

I think there should be a place for feds to discuss what this memo means for our employment future. Just putting in a link to the gutting of SSA thread makes the employment part get lost in the shuffle.

Thank you! I just added a post clarifying the employment-related issues this raises and that I did not mean for this to turn into a political discussion (although it’s hard not to have some overlap).
