How concerned are you about measles?

Do I need to start limiting my toddler’s activities? Myself? Planned travel?

Not at all. I and my family have been vaccinated.

0% concerned.

I don't like in a border state near a big unvaxxed Mennonite community.

don't live in ^^^

Concerned as I have a 2 week old that's not vaccine eligible for a year.... but also feel like there's not much I can do ( we already wouldn't fly with a baby or take them in crowded places)

Right...it won't spread at all. /S

If you live in DC and you’re all vaccinated, you’re fine.

Do the vaccinated need to be concerned?

especially one that most people are vaccinated for.

Might be dumb but can vaccinated people still get measles and give it to my unvaccinated newborn?

We are vaccinated. So I don’t care. Unfortunately theCovid vaccines not working and the medical establishment lying about it caused the vaccine hesitancy movement to skyrocket. It’s such a shame.

The Covid vaccine isn’t working? Are people still dying by the tens of thousands each week?

The measles vaccine is 97% effective and infants under 1 year are not vaccinated. Assuming 200 million people in the US are vaccinated and this highly contagious infection spread, 6 million people and infants are at risk.

We had family living near a measles outbreak a couple years ago when our youngest was too young to be vaccinated. At the height we were advised by our pediatrician to not travel there, and then as it got later on we didn’t go out in public there, including playgrounds. Just to the grandparents house and back to VA.

DP but in no world does anyone consider the COVID vaccine a success. The amount of damage the “health professionals” did in two years will last generations and this is just the latest example. There will be more and we’re allowed to be angry about it.
