Grand Canyon Sunset and/or Sunrise Tours - Recommendations and how to book?

Anonymous
We are staying in the Grand Canyon over spring break and have heard about doing sunrise and/or sunset tours in the park. Can you recommend one or the other that you have done, and how to book? I can only find a few things on the website and this is not one of them.

OP here - we are staying at El Tovar. Maybe it is something easy for us to see from that area? If you've been there and that works please let me know! It is our first time.

We also are staying at El Tovar over spring break and am just planning to walk over to the rim at sunrise (which is why we are paying such a premium for the hotel!)

I don’t think you need a tour. Just be there at sunrise or sunset

We just walked to the rim and sat and enjoyed the sunrise.

OP here - thank you PPs - sounds like it is easier than I thought!

This. Tours are only for canyon descent really. You don't need one for that either, but non-outdoorsie people might prefer a tour for treking down into the canyon. It's quite a hike due to elevation change.
