Hi we are trying to get DS u12 this fall to travel soccer. We are debating between loudoun, revolution and valor. I know there is a process of tryouts but would like to hear which club has more reputation of player development for this age.

Try out for Loudoun and Revolution and see if he gets an offer.
If he doesn't get on either, reach out to Valor. They will put your son on a team without a tryout |
Funny that is true at Loundon and revolution, you know it. |
Lots of kids get cut from Loudoun tryouts. No clue about VRSC or Valor (but based on the huge hate thread, it seems like a place best avoided) |
There were over 150 boys at tryouts last year for Loudoun for 75 spots. This is not true at all. I’m not a Loudoun parent but it’s so frustrating how everyone on this board feels the need to add in snark to such a simple question. So toxic. |
Were you PP who answered the initial question first? Because that had snark directed at Valor. |
Yeah but if they think they have enough to make one more team they will. It’s a business they aren’t dumb |
Vrsc is the only club that develops players in house. Everyone else you listed you need to do mostly supplemental/private training. If development matters more than rankings I'd start there but they aren't doing normal tryouts this year that seems odd. You have to ID. |
