Spanish 2 in summer

Hello,

My DD is interested in taking Spanish 2 in summer as a rising 8th grader. This opens up her schedule to take another elecetvie during the school year. Does anyone have experience with that? I have heard that the classes are asynchronous and homework is not hard.

Thanks.

As a teacher, I have heard from HS colleagues that teach world language classes that the students who do this are not prepared well for level 3 and are significantly behind their peers that took level 2 in the classroom setting, especially in speaking skills. Just something to consider if your child plans on continuing to level 3.
