Like the pools / kitchen at villas, and being close on Universal parks property for the cabanas with closer distance and early entry (they only have microwave). We’ll have a car either way.
Any experience with both? Any advice on which to go with? Going over spring break if that makes a difference. |
Will you actually use the kitchen? I always think I will and never end up doing it. |
I stayed at Cabana Bay and thought it was a lot of fun and great with kids. |
We stayed at Aventura (across the street from CB) and really liked it. We have gotten good at doing hotel room breakfasts. You could order some groceries online or bring them in a suitcase if you are not getting a car. Another thing I love about Universal hotels is they allow pool hopping, unlike Disney. |
We stayed at Cabana bay and kids love it. We did curbside pick up for groceries ( milk, yogurt, string cheese, pastry, bread, fruit, snacks, water etc). I didn’t plan to cook though. |
Op here. Thanks all. I didn’t realize about the bolded part! That looks like fun! So it’s possible to use any hotel pool? |
Yes, you are technically supposed to check in with the front desk of the hotel where you would like to use the pool and show your room keys from your hotel. We did this a few times but one time we didn't and it was fine. |
