Barely sleeping in third trimester

Anonymous
I've been getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night. Is this normal? Did anyone else deal with this in the last trimester?

Yes 37 weeks and dealing with this now. Takes hours to get comfortable at bedtime.

It's to get you used to the lack of sleep when the baby has arrived.

It's hard. Hang in there!

I’m 2 months postpartum, but yes, third trimester sleep was awful.

So completely normal. Welcome, dear one.

And this isn’t the “last trimester.” You have one more after the baby is born. The lack of sleep in the third trimester is preparation for the fourth trimester.
