DH, me + 14 & 16yo DCs. We ski every year in March but this year want some place warmer b/s it's been so cold
Doesn't have to be tropical, just not cold. Enjoy active trips or city trips, bonus if we can mix both An ideal spring trip for us would be Sapporo skiing + Tokyo + Kyoto with great nature, great culture and great food, but with only 9 days, don't think we can do Japan. Not interested in Florida, Vegas or Mexico. Not big spenders but also not budget travelers Thanks! |
Portugal
Argentina |
OP- Thanks! I like the sound of these! What's a good rough itinerary for Argentina for 9 days? How many days in Buenos Aires...is it a good time/do we have enough days to go to Patagonia? Have never been to Argentina. How about Portugal? Where can we go for 9 days? Thank you! |
Portugal - such an easy country to drive around in, would definitely recommend visiting Porto. There are so many smaller cities and towns to stop at.
Argentina - I would do Buenos Aires and Montevideo (Uruguay), you can take the ferry to Montevideo As for itineraries there are tons available online! Good luck. |
Not big spenders but you want to go to Japan? Ok. |
Are you talking about in like 6 weeks, or over a year from now? |
We did Japan in 9 days over Thanksgiving break. |
Vietnam is beautiful. |
You COULD do Japan in 9 days. But you shouldn’t. |
If it really interests your family, I wouldn’t discount Japan (without skiing). We’ve been a couple times as a family (DH travels a ton). Nonstop flight to Haneda, base in Tokyo, phenomenal train systems. You can do a lot. We just did Sat to Sat a couple months ago. |
+1. Also, not big spenders but planning a peak season trip in under 2 months with strict parameters and no stated budget? Mmmkay. |
