Uber teen

Has anyone used Uber Teen for their child to get rides to or from school? Do you feel it is safe?

No way to answer that since it completely is dependent on the driver.

My teenager used it once and swore he’d never take it again. He said the driver was crazy and drove badly. He’s since become adept at public transit.

We have used a few times and it has been fine. My child is pretty aware, not timid, and independent

We had an Uber driver cause a massive wreck in the carpool line at our school recently. Obviously that's a problem with the driver not the service, but there's no way to know what kind of driver you're going to get. This was at an elementary school so that's a somewhat different situation, but you'd need to assess whether your teenager could deal with an unsafe situation.

An Uber driver was coming to pick up an elementary age student on their own? Or was the parent in the car with the Uber driver?

Yes, my son has taken it when he as missed the bus (middle school)
