With RTO, need a driver for our 4th grader. Thankfully have some college student prospects with their own cars. The driving would be about 30 min round trip max for one kid (10 miles max) and 60 min max if add another kid (20 miles max). This is all in NW DC/MOCO
What is the going rate? Also how do you handle it if driver is late to pickup and you get charged late child fee? |

If the driver is accepting $ for providing transportation their insurance may not cover any accidents. This is a common exclusion is personal auto policies.
As for late pick up, considering the traffic in the DC Metro area, YOU cover the late fee. If it becomes a common occurrence then fire the driver. |
