Whether or not God exists is a matter of personal belief that cannot be proven scientifically.
Why do so many people declare that no God or gods exist? Are such people arrogant or just ignorant? If you don’t believe in God it gods, why do you think your personal beliefs should be the personal beliefs of everyone? |
*God or gods |
There is evidence other than scientific evidence. Logical evidence, historical evidence, and more.
As for science, the fact that all of scientific history as shown exactly zero evidence of the supernatural is also a strong point of consideration. For example, science has shown that lightning is not thrown by gods, as was once believed. |
I don't think my belief should be your belief. You do you, but keep your "unprovable" whatever out of my government and my kids' schools. |
I think people are drawn to finding common ground with others. It’s hard to have a serious conversation with someone who believes in supernatural forces.

Scientific method limitations: Science relies on observation and experimentation to test hypotheses, and the concept of God is typically not considered something that can be directly observed or manipulated in a lab. God as a supernatural being, which falls outside the scope of scientific inquiry that focuses on the physical world. There is no scientific way to definitively prove or disprove the existence of God. God is not an object of science as there is no evidence of god in Nature for science to consider. In other words, statements about gods have no scientific content. There isn't physical evidence that can be used to prove or disprove that God exists. This means that it wouldn't be scientific to claim that God does or doesn't exist. So to believe in God or not, is something we have to choose ourselves. |
Why do you keep creating new posts to try to argue points? |
That sounds like a you problem. Various studies show that between 64%-71% of Americans believe in some type of supernatural phenomenon. You enjoy talking to people who believe as you do, not very open minded and tolerant of you. |
Show me facts that prove your last sentence. |
My guesses - bored - there hasn't been a troll induced argument in here for a while |
Jesus told him to do it. He's a confrontational POS. |
Yes, we know there are MILLIONS of idiots living amongst us. The last election demonstrated that. It's hard to have a conversation when you don't agree on basic facts. Or even that facts are important. Some people prefer to manufacture narratives/characters instead of living in reality. |
For many people, if there is no evidence for something and no way to observe it in the physical world...that might lead them to conclude that it doesn't exist. If it only exists in your mind...then is it real? |
+1 Stay out of my vagina, 'kay? |
Like believing in fairies and goblins and Santa Claus, which adults don't believe in. It's considered childish and silly to continue believing in fairies and goblins and Santa as adults, but it's considered good, by some people, to continue to believe in God. |
