Bagby Is A Bad Choice For VA DNC

It is very risky for Virginia to choose Lamont Bagby for the DNC Chair. He has a history of supporting legislation that is largely out of step with Virginia. He sponsored a bill that will increase crime by not allowing minors who commit crime to be included in the regular fingerprint database. This will make it much harder to solve crimes and make Virginia less safe. He has also supported bills that will override local zoning authority and force communities to build high density housing when they don’t have room in their schools or insufficient infrastructure capacity. Most Virginia residents don’t support soft on crime policies or eliminating local control over land use. He will be a disaster for Democrats and risk handing future elections to Republicans.
