Sibling relationship

I have seen a few cases of NT younger kid gets hurt by older SN kid and they are siblings. It sometimes ends up with parents physically blocking on the SN older kid or the NT younger kid gets sad or tears up. It just happened to be the older SN kid invaded personal space, got competitive during the play/game by grabbing/pushing/tripping/hitting/slapping etc.. The few cases happen to be the older SN kids are middle school ages, and there's a big difference in the size and strength compared to younger sibling. And hormone may be another factor. I feel bad for the younger ones.

I happen to have SN older kid and NT younger kid sibling combo and they are 3 years apart. They are fine now at ES ages. Are there any preventive tips that parents could do before all these could happen?
