My dog has an upset stomach and has been pooping on my carpet the last couple of days. The enzymatic cleaner I picked up at Target (Bio- something) did not work. I read online that I may need to repeat the process several times. BUT I followed up with Resolve high-traffic foam, which also did not work, and I'm afraid that may negate the effectiveness of the enzymatic cleaner.
Should I follow the enzymatic treatment plan? Something else? And what should I do to calm my dog's stomach? DC read to feed him chicken and rice. I fear that my dog is picking up on the stress of this one-parent fed employee family RTO 5 days a week next week, concerned about potential job loss. In which case, chicken and rice won't work. |
This works great.

You need a spot bot type cleaner. |
Carpet cleaner with the Bissell. |
Love the mini Bissel spot cleaner. Nothing else works like that except those carpet cleaners you rent at the grocery store. |
I have a Bissell little green but I also swear by this stuff:

If the dog is eating, chicken and rice is good because it is bland. I usually withhold food after diarrhea. You can give a medium to large dog Imodium tablets or OTC dog diarrhea medicine (kaolin + pectin). For your carpet, maybe oxyclean? |
plain yogurt also works on my dog. |
This is a green machine. I was going to suggest this. So +1 |
