Watching the USWNT and I can’t stand the incessant drumming. The chanting/singing, I’m fine with. The drums drive the crazy.

It's what they do because we can't replicate the atmosphere like you see in other countries. So we use drums to fill the stadium with noise because otherwise the atmosphere would be completely dead. |

That's not why they do it. I don't mind it too much because it's usually contained to a section where I'm not, but I agree that during the national games it's non stop incessant, which is unnecessary. |

It was TBS, never knows how to broadcast sports, the noise from field is too loud, the commentators voice is not clear at all. Or maybe the broadcast desk position is too close the fans.
