Is anyone else annoyed about Amazon's decision to stop the ability of people to download ebooks onto their computer? I know most people read books on their Kindles but the ability to download on computers is really helpful if you want to read on a different (non-Amazon) device. In my case, I'm studying French and Spanish and I like to download my foreign books onto a site that has a better built in dictionary and lots of features for language learners. It is frustrating to pay for ebooks and then be so restricted in how we can use them. Constant reminder that we do not really "own" our ebooks, we are just paying for a license to use them.
