Since Airbnb is involved with Doge I'm boycotting. What are some other trustworthy alternatives for renting an apartment in Paris for a week? |
I’ve used ParisPerfect before and really loved my apartment. They’re on the pricier side but the smaller apartments are usually not too bad. |
We’ve found some of the listings on Airbnb (and VRBO) are also listed elsewhere or even privately. You have to do a little digging but it might be possible to find those accommodations listed elsewhere, not going through AirBnb |
Other parts of France you can try Gîtes de France, which has been around a long time. |
Stay in a Hilton or Marriott. |
I stayed here on our trip to paris in 2017. We loved the location near a metro stop was so convenient. Breakfast not included, but a shop with pain au chocolate was just around the corner.

We rented an great 2 bedroom apartment through Marriott last summer - just put in your search dates and select the apartments/long term stays. Plus we were able to use points for the stay. |
We had a great experience with Haven In a few years ago.

Hotels are nice places to stay. They change the sheets for you and you don’t have to take the trash out before you leave. |
Ok werdo |
Yeah we did both but love that Paris has 3 bedroom condos for our family that are half the price of hotel 2 bedroom connecting rooms. You can actually pay some more money to have sheets and trash done at the Airbnb but it wasn't worth it to us since we were sightseeing most of the time. |
Magical places called hotels where you aren’t playing games with your time. |
I love to have a kitchen though. I hate eating every single meal in a restaurant, especially breakfast. DP |
Whole point of vacation is so someone else cooks for you. |
It’s not Airbnb. It’s one of the co-founders. |
