| Anybody have any idea if there is a way to watch these games is Spain starting today? |
They lost. |
US female soccer was the best when we had no competition. Bid farewell to those days as we will never be competitive again, and it shows. |
Lost 2-1 to Netherlands...mostly the same roster that's been losing for the last few years except when they smash terrible teams in the concacaf and score 17 goals. |
| The roster is comprised of 2006 players - but it is missing potentially the top 2006 players who are in preseason with their NWSL teams (Bugg, Adames) or w the full WNT (Hutton). |
| They are gearing up for U20 concacaf qualifiers and preparing for the U20 WWC in 2026. My guess is that roster will include some standout 2007 players, too. |
Biggest ever. More competition is a good thing and what a giant leap to say they'll never be competitive again.
|
You would think you'd want those players playing against Netherlands, Spain etc. vs. pre season practices? |
especially with NWSL far from the top Womens league in the world |
|
Those games don't matter much. And it seems like under Emma, she is trying to build and expand the pool of players.
Likewise, this is the international break, so many NWSL teams are missing their top players to full team duties in other countries. They might need those young players to step up with the older players gone. A U19 game might be seen as less competitive/necessary than a NWSL preseason game |
Lost 2-0 to England today. |
