What is the best way to influence Governor Moore re budget?

As part of the endangered MoCo Middle Class, I am opposed to Moore’s proposals to eliminate the mortgage deduction from state taxes. With a family income of @ $200k and a kid going off to college, we can’t afford another $2k in taxes. MoCo needs to cut programs like giving away free trees to wealthy residents, printing all materials in color, etc. The State should seriously consider abandoning the Purple Line, which will cost us even more money as it operates.

How can we best get this budget changed? Which legislators are most effective to contact? Which interest groups? Ideas?

Have you ever met a democrat who wants to cut spending and collect less taxes? Sorry, you're screwed. IIRC, Elrich said MoCo needs to raise taxes in case there's a severe recession due to loss of massive numbers of fed jobs. You should be expecting even higher taxes due to increased income tax as well.

Yes, I know many Dems who want to cut spending and collect less taxes - in fact, I’m the OP and I’m one of them!
