Spring break is so late this year

It’s still almost 2 months away. With all the snow and gray skies it feels like eternity. I should have booked a mid winter trip to FL or Caribbean to bridge the long gap. Anyone else feeling this?

College spring break is usually halfway through the semester. In the public school, spring break is around Easter. Easter is a moving target each year. Oh well.

My private school DC has spring break in a month

Only in backwards places. Public school calendars shouldn't be linked to religious holidays. Ours is always the last week of March.

The entire metro DC public school area is tied to Easter.
