DD plays for a mid/lower tier club. Her team's played in two multi-day tournaments and a couple of local one-day events, but the win/loss record only shows four total matches. Also noticed that the other same-age team shows only a single match on their record when they've played in as many tournaments.
Is the club responsible for entering outcomes, or is it supposed to auto-populate based on results entered by the folks who run the tournaments? Just curious, as to me right now the rankings for her club look like garbage in, garbage out for data. |
Check the other Sports Engine ranking (also in AES - click the rankings field) and it may show all your matches. I believe the USAV rankings only include matches from USAV sanctioned tournaments. |
Also note that not all events use AES as an underlying platform. For example, Volley by the James, National Harbor Showdown, and Capital Hill Classic use SportWrench. I think the clubs would have to enter teams results from those events into the AES system ... where they would only be reflected as wins and losses (not a breakdown of all matches within the event).
I think West Coast clubs/events are on another platform that is not AES or SportWrench. It wouldn't surprise me if there were other platforms. |
In addition to the prior suggestions, also click the checkbox “Show National Ranks”. When you filter down to the Chesapeake region, if you don’t check that box it only shows W/Ls for age group regional opponents. |
