| I'll go first. I've had 3 different IUDs and intermitted birth control pill usage between ages 23 and 30. I've had painful ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease and now one tube is completely blocked and the other is partially blocked. |

| Nope. |
| I hope you aren’t trying to correlate iuds with infertility? |
| Yes. After two kids, I got an IUD that was a problem from week three. I had to have it removed surgically (done poorly). We tried for a third child, but never got pregnant. I learned later the IUD impact meant I would never again be pregnant. |
| Nope |
| No, never and unexplained diagnosis. |
+1 I know it’s tempting to find something to blame, but it won’t help. |

I had 3 IUDs (Mirena and Paraguard) and before that took oral BC and had no issues getting or staying pregnant. Don’t let your lizard brain look for ways to blame yourself for infertility. IUDs or probably anything else you’ve done did not cause infertility.
If anything, your issues might have been worse had you not used IUDs. Hormonal IUDs are sometimes prescribed to control endometriosis. Keep working with specialists to get to the bottom of your issues. Sorry, OP. |
