Expedia price drop protection

Has anyone achieved significant savings through this. I’m planning a trip to France in early June and the prices are much higher than last year ($1,500 per person v $900-1,000 last year). I’m wondering if I should just wait to hedge my purchase.

^ flight prices, I forgot to mention…

It’s powered by Hopper. You’re paying for the hedge on this.

For hotels, I don’t think it’s worth it because most hotels are cancelable until just before arrival.

You are probably better off using Google flights monitoring for free.

Flights are not going to go down and I'll never book through a 3rd party again. It's not worth the hassle when something goes wrong.
