While futsal isn't for everyone, the Northeast Regional Futsal tournament is the biggest and best futsal tournament in the country.

Clubs are rare at those, DVM players are participating in various futsal teams, those are typically assembled from players of various soccer teams. |

+1 Most of our local FUTSAL leagues (aside from collecting money) just provide the outdoor teams with fitness and foot skills training over the winter period by running various leagues. Aside from In10Sity, Alexandria and St James and a few others, most of our teams just want to go back to outdoor when the futsal season is over. Many outdoor Coaches I have talked to don't want to go to Atlantic City or Las Vegas (championships). But Futsal culture is growing in this area, maybe we'll have more teams in the future participate. But for now, we don't have a strong DMV showing. |
