Only 547 built and Kendric Lamar owns 191. |

It was cool when it came out, I remember reading about it in a car magazine as a kid. I think Chevy made their version too -- Monte Carlo SS.
But the problem is it's still a GM car from that era, so you get a very mediocre interior. And horsepower has come a long way so your average Honda Accord these days can outrun it. |
| No. |
My cousin had a Monte Carlo SS. At some point it could only go forward so we did a lot of pushing of that car. |
Ha! I asked DH last night if that was a Monte Carlo. I remember those because when I was about 10 we were hit by a drunk driver in a Monte Carlo--we were in my mom's Lincoln Town Car and we were all ok in our car even though it was a high speed crash at a country intersection. |
I was in an Oldsmobile Cutlass -- same platform as the GNX/Monte Carlo back then, and we got rear-ended. The Oldsmobile barely had a bumper scratch, but the car that hit us was totaled! |

Kendrick Lamar GNX is from his family when he was young.
Getting one now is poser behavior like Drake. |
| Kendrick is 37, but has the nostalgia of a 60+ yo. He is very interesting, indeed. |
HA!! My cousin had a chevy that would only go forward! Had to always park super far out to pull through paring spots! American cars are such junk. No clue how anyone buys them now. |
Lamar's is! You can fit 50 people in there!
|
HAHA! |
He came home from hospital in a Buick Regal. A 1987 Buick GNX is worth around $200,000. |
I’d like to see the Accords you’re driving; the GNX had a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds. |
| Just to clarify, he owns car #191 of the 547, not 191 of them. |
