HRT patch help

My college kid is starting HRT. We picked up the patches on the way back to college. She’s struggling to get the backing off to reveal the adhesive. The brand is sandoz. Backing is silver. Any advice? She already ruined one and is upset. She’s 2 hours away so I can’t go help.

I’m going to leave this post up in case anyone else ever has this problem. Apparently, she opened the pack and did not realize the actual HRT patch had fallen onto the floor. Which she was trying to open was a silica pack that was attached to the packet to keep the patch dry. She realized it when she saw the actual patch on the floor a few minutes later.

Yeah those patches suck. See if you can switch to the gel packets.

I’d actually recommend injections. Most people eventually switch to them anyway.
