| I have a kid who is obsessed with cranberry sauce. I have been scouring grocery stores for fresh cranberries to keep up the supply and am down to the last batch. Please share any leads or suggestions! |

The cranberry harvest season is October . They're also a North American thing (like corn) so it's not imported .
Looks like youll have to go with the canned stuff or the juice. Is it the tart flavor your kid is obsessed with? |
| Giant (Hungerford Dr Rockville) has had them marked down to 1.50 a bag the last two weeks. I have a few bags in my freezer. Haven't been since last Sunday but maybe call them. |
| Buy frozen cranberries. They are fine and maybe better for cranberry sauce |

+1 I have them in my freezer from fall because I cannot ever even find frozen in stores year round. It's a missed opportunity for sure for supermarkets to order frozen. See also: rhubarb. |
| If you do find fresh, buy a supply and freeze. Cranberries freeze really well and last a long time (as does cranberry sauce - I make a full batch and freeze in smallish containers so I have enough for a meal or recipe whenever I need it). |

Thank you all! I also found some bags (at Amazon Fresh) about two weeks ago and made multiple batches. Shoulda bought out the store and stashed them in the freezer! I'll try frozen unless I can find any more fresh.
My kid is a picky eater and underweight; he goes through intense phases that usually run their course before I run out of whatever the lastest thing is. I still have a cabinet full of ramen from a previous obsession. |
