Best Howard County high schools

Anonymous
It's a smaller county than Montgomery MD and Fairfax VA. How many high schools are there? Which one did you like and why, or not like and why not? Post your experiences.

Depends on what you mean by best.

If you want competitive, high ranking schools then you’ll want to look at River Hill, Centennial and Marriotts Ridge. Those are the schools you want if you have a high achieving, competitive kid.

If you care about diversity then don’t send them to Glenelg. Otherwise, any of the other schools will do.

There are 14 high schools in the county.

Is it? I would say Centennial is more competitive.
River Hill is richer and whiter.
