What happens to all of our 401ks and life savings if the Trump team is successful at getting crypto into the entire banking system and everything moves to de-dollarize? They are already trying to undermine the federal reserve:

Let's say the worst case scenario is they kill the fiat dollar. How does the govt retain control over monetary policy to run the country if the Fed can no longer control money? Are our life savings and investments going to tank if they're not in crypto?

Trump has a major goal of making the the US a crypto capital, and they want a crypto stockpile they said. Where are we going?

I'm very scared I will lose everything if I keep it on dollars. It's my entire life's savings. I'm not rich.

Everyone’s wealth is tied up in Crypto. Then hackers come and steal or even just erase the keys to the coins. No FDIC. No records. All the money is essentially bonfired

We turn into the UK or something where we are at the mercy of the bond markets which means we enter a cycle of cutting spending which leads to low growth which leads to less spending. Could be some pretty bad austerity coming. Of course the billionaires will be fine but your kids will be screwed.

The federal reserve should not be anywhere near our money. We need Constitutional currency aka gold and silver backed currency. You could easily combine that with crypto but crypto alone wouldn’t cut it. It would return to treasury to print money as it did prior to federal reserve. It will be better that way.
