Post IVF bloodwork. What are they checking for?

Hi!

On Thursday I had IVF transferring 3 day 5 blasts. On that day they told me to come back 4 days later for bloodwork/monitoring. They called yesterday and said that my bloodwork came back from thursday - and they want me to come in sunday (instead of monday) for bloodwork.

I asked if everything was ok, were my levels low - but they said everything was fine.

should i be worried? what levels are they checking post ivf?

You need to check your estrogen and progesterone (and I am sure other things) but I remember after IVF my progesterone was very low and they made me take double the meds - and until this day I believe that is what made the difference in having a successful pregnancy.

thanks so much. you're right. my estrogen was a little low. i now have to take medicine 3x a day.
