Estrace: orally or vaginally?

I got an rx yesterday for estrace. I just got my positive beta and they said this was just in case.
Is this normal? Nurse said not to worry.
She didn't tell Tell me how to take the pills, do you do them vaginally or orally?
They are small flat oval green pills. I just left a msg but curious how others take it.
I am already taking prometrium vaginally.

I took mine orally.

I took it vaginally. It is absorbed much better & starts working faster that way.

Op- nurse called and told me to take it orally... I will ask about taking it vaginally.

Did oral estrace make you nauseated and vaginal not?

I've just started taking it today and feel nauseated. I'm three days pregnant so it can't be morning sickness, right?
