What goes in the packet from the school?

Do they see the winter iReady scores? Where do they get the work samples? Does this vary by school? Thanks in advance!

I don't think they include winter iReady scores. How they get the work samples varies by school and grade. I believe sometimes the AART will work on getting samples all year for all second graders, so that they have samples to choose from for those children that end up applying to AAP. Sometimes it's the teacher who is in charge of getting samples. Sometimes the teacher will use samples from existing assignments, and sometimes they will assign the children an extra task so that it can be used as a sample. That's just my understanding.

I have a current second grader so I don’t know exactly what goes in now.

I have 2 older kids who got in under the old system. In my older child’s packet, there were work samples, GBRS (now HOPE), second grader report card and first grade report card and a cover that included my child’s test scores plus work samples. Iready was not included back then. I believe it is included now.
