Your favorite Korean restaurant

We want to give a gift card to a really nice Korean restaurant to one of our neighbors. We are vegetarian so usually don’t go to Korean restaurants. Appreciate your help.

Sorry didn’t mention the area looking in DC, Alexandria and Tysons area.

We like Anju in Dupont Circle. The menu is not entirely traditional, but we love the dumplings, karage and bimbimbap.

Ingle Steakhouse in Tysons is more upscale.

We are vegetarian and love Korean food. Anju is delightful.

Thank you for the recommendations.

Ingle is high end and highly regarded. Yechon is more comfort food. Anju is more "hip." If I got a gift card, I would want one from Ingle, but given the price point it would have to quite a large gift card to cover the whole meal. I don't know if Yechon even does gift cards.

I don't think it matters how much of the meal OP covers. I would care more that she/he recognizes the person I am. High end and highly regarded doesn't always mean great food. That's not to say I wouldn't try Ingle but not sure from your tone that it will be worth my time.
