It Ends with Us

I tried to find a discussion about this but couldn't....

Why isn't anyone talking about Atlas grooming Lily? He asks her how old she is, "15" she says and he gets a disappointed look on his face (he's 18). Then he proceeds to climb into her window every night and sleep in her bed with her. He takes her virginity. Her friend Katie got it right on the bus when she called him a creepy, homeless guy. This part of the book seemed to be glossed over in book reviews.

Anyone else?

Not my type of book so I haven't read it, I watched the movie because it was filmed in the city I live in but the fact he was 18 and she 15 was definitely left out of the movie!

What they didn't leave out was when he said he was going to that house to kill himself, but didn't because he saw her in her bedroom. He said that he watched her, what sounded like for a while. What a creep!

It's pretty much universally understood in bookish spaces that CoHo is problematic.

Try looking at reddit, instagram, and tiktok.
